I graduated from Indiana University with a BFA in 1986, majoring in Visual Communications after a year as a painting major.

Straight out of school, for eight years, I worked as a Art Director at sevearl agencies in Indianapolis and Chicago-land.

For more then ten years as a freelance illustrator, I’ve been a ‘jack-of-all-trades’ for a diverse array of clients in Indianapolis and Chicago. They rely on my years of experience as an Art Director to bring problem solving and an eye for detail to my images.

I 've spent the better part of the twenty-five years as a Hoosier, and all my life in the mid-west. Ask me and I'll tell how many states I've lived in.
